In 2017, Courtney came to us at BFLOW® and expressed the need for a billing and management solution for the product she created. Courtney was new to DME billing and BFLOW® was there to help her on her journey. Dr. Courtney Williamson (TPR 2014) is the Co-Founder and CEO of AbiliLife Inc., producing biomechanical devices to improve the quality of life for the elderly and those with movement disorders. Courtney was inspired by her mother who suffered from Parkinson’s disease and from her inspiration developed the first back brace designed for the Parkinson’s patient – The Calibrace+.

Made in the USA, Calibrace+ is a patented Medicare approved and FDA registered product available in 35 states. It is prescribed by over 50 hospital networks such as Johns Hopkins, The Mayo Clinic and many more.

Courtney is a Doctoral Candidate in Organizational Behavior and Theory at Carnegie Mellon University. Carnegie Mellon University’s Swartz Center for Entrepreneurship has provided growth and financial resources for hundreds of students, faculty and alumni who have created great companies that positively affect the way people live.
